Melon for breakfast and a baked sweet potato for lunch.
Had my post-op appointment today, it went well. I got to see a picture of my inflamed and diseased gall bladder. I'm sure I made the right choice in getting it out. It was obvious even to my untrained eye that it was very sick. I did talk to him about bile salts and magnesium, and he fully supported me giving them both a try.
Then for dinner, I made chicken breast seasoned with salt and granulated garlic, stuffed with fresh basil and cilantro, wrapped with bacon. Along with it, I chopped up half a rutabaga, and sauteed it with bacon, garlic, salt, and cilantro. I also made a second serving without bacon so I can take it to work for lunch tomorrow. It was really good.
