So for breakfast this morning, in addition to my usual blueberry smoothie, I ate some raw veggies (broccoli, carrots, celery, and sugar snap peas) with just a bit of plain hummus (maybe about 2 tablespoons). I don't think my body liked the hummus. It's not a bad reaction, but my tummy is definitely grumbly, I've gone to the bathroom twice and will definitely go again before bedtime, and I'm just on the edge of being crampy. I guess I will save the hummus for those days when I need to get things moving.
For lunch I made a foil packet with a chicken breast, the last of the broccoli and carrots, and a touch of garlic chive spread, along with the second half of the acorn squash with cinnamon and maple. Yumminess.
Then for dinner, we got home late, so I just tossed together a turkey burger with sea salt, garlic, and fresh basil. I wrapped it with some fresh red chard (from my garden), and added a bit of brown mustard (mustard seed, tumeric, and acv). Then I had some frozen blueberries with maple syrup for dessert.
